Boko Haram kills Pastor, Teacher, 17 others in Borno state

Pastor Eliud Gwamna Mshelizza of the Living Faith Church, a teacher with the Government Girls Secondary School Shaffa alongside 17 others were killed in separate attacks on Wednesday September 24th and Thursday September 25th after Boko Haram members launched an attack on Shaffa and Shindiffu villages of Hawul LGA in Borno State.



The sect men were said to have arrived Shaffa at about 8pm on Wednesday September 24th and after ravaging the village, proceeded to Shindiffu village on Thursday September 25th. They burnt down about 10 churches including E.Y.N No:I, E.Y.N No: II and III in both villages. Many of the sect members were however killed by Nigerian troops who came in from Adamawa and Biu during an ambush as the Boko Haram men were leaving the villages after the attack.

Nigerian Actress Amanda Ebeye Turns Etisalat Model Not Ambassador

Fast rising Nollywood movie star Amanda Ebeye has landed a major modelling deal with Nigeria’s top telecommunication firm.



Few weeks ago, Amanda signed a multi million naira contract with Etisalat.



The 1-year contract will have the sexy photos of the actress displayed in indoor and outdoor advertisement and TV commercials.



Though she is not an official ambassador, Ebeye is set to join Etisalat ambassadors to campaign for the telecom firm.



The actress who became popular for her passionate role in movies like Weeping Tiger and My Last wedding says, “I have always been a model and am glad working with Etisalat. The deal is worth it, I must confess.”

In a recent interview with SaharaReporters, Denrele finally addressed the controversy surrounding the photo where he was captured kissing Charly Boy. He tells SR:



“I guess whether I was just caught up in publicity stunt; whether it’s a controversial agenda; whether it was real deal; whether it was photoshopped; trust Naija to judge. That picture was obviously very well altered. This is the very first time I will be saying this. I didn’t even bother addressing it. I said you people should go and judge whatever you want to judge because you’ve already cursed me finish. Till date people are still saying why they have not arrested Charly Boy and Denrele. Those two they should even serve 28 years not 14 years. This happened so many years but you can see it’s still fresh. People only remember the horrible things. They don’t remember the good things you’ve been doing.)”
