After losing her constructive dismissal case to Lord Alan Sugar, Stella English said she only had £200 in the bank and not enough money to feed her children.
But it looks like she's doing well enough to holiday in Cannes and shop at luxury lingerie boutique Agent Provocateur.
The disgruntled Apprentice star was seen in the celebrity hotspot on the French Riviera, browsing in the designer shops and sipping sparkling wine on one of the city's many sandy beach.
Agent Provocateur is known for its high end price tag, with a simple thong setting the customer back £85.
Stella carried a large bag out of the store, before popping into Laduree, an upmarket restaurant which reportedly offers afternoon tea for the rock bottom price of £35.
Walking through the coastal town, the unemployed reality star wore a striped dress with a jumper hung over her shoulders with heels and sunglasses pulling her peroxide blonde hair back.
Lucky girl: The mother-of-two's holiday was supposedly paid for by a friend
Living the high life: The former Apprentice star forgets her financial woes and sips on a large glass of wine
Where's your friend? There's two glasses of wine but only one Stella
Later she found a quiet spot on the beach to relax in the sun, wearing a black strapless swim suit while she sat back and enjoyed a glass of wine, alone.
Her spokesman told the Sun, 'Stella was treated to the holiday by a friend', but it is unknown if that generous pal was footing the bill for all her purchases and dining experiences.
It was only last month that she lost against her former employer in court after claiming her role within Sugar's company was not the one originally offered.
Family company: Stella brought her son Edward for the trip but her youngest Frank was nowhere to be seen
Isn't that out of your price range? The reportedly broke Apprentice winner shopped in Agent Provocateur
Signing on? Stella said she would have to file
for unemployment and cannot afford to pay Lord Sugar's legal costs after
losing her constructive dismissal case to him
Stella won a £100,000 job with Lord Sugar's IT division Viglen on series six of BBC1 show The Apprentice in 2010.
The Amstrad boss then sued English for her to pay his legal costs, which Stella said she could not, appearing on daytime television about her financial troubles that could mean she might have to sign on for unemployment support.
'My husband has left,' Stella said on ITV's Daybreak. 'I haven’t slept for weeks trying to cope with the fact I’m an unemployed single mother.'
'It’s a nightmare.'
Mail Online have contacted English's representatives for comment.
Back for more? Despite having already purchased
items from the expensive lingerie shop, English took another look back
in the store
