And Jessie J certainly managed that, as she took to the stage in a barely-there beaded bodysuit for the first night of her Alive arena tour in Belfast, northern Ireland, on Tuesday night.
The 25-year-old singer showed off her slim shape in the heavily embellished one-piece, which featured a cutaway chiffon skirt worn around the waist.
Jessie finished off her look with white court shoes, pink lipstick and her blonde hair neatly styled as she delighted fans with renditions of classic hits such as Price Tag and Do It Like A Dude and more recent tracks such as Wild.
Later, Jessie changed into another stunning outfit - a purple silk chiffon gown and matching knickers created especially for the tour by one of the singer's favourite designers, Hasan Hejazi.
Speaking earlier this week about kicking off her tour at the Odyssey Arena, Jessie told Capital FM: 'It's going to be a huge night for me, for many different reasons.

'The new music in itself is just going to
be a massive part of the show. I want the album to sound the same live,
if not better, as it was recorded.
'And I didn't have a chance to learn the last album because it was so last minute before I started touring, so I'm really using the time I have to utilise making myself a better artist.
'I'm really excited, it's going to be wicked.'

Jessie also took to Twitter on Monday night to express her excitement ahead of the first night of the tour, writing: 'In 24 hours I will be on stage in BELFAST! Cannot wait! #ALIVETOURUK.'
Fans of the singer were also made more excited earlier this week when she revealed that for the latter part of her tour, she will be supported by boyband Lawson.
The boys will be joining Jessie from 22nd October, as they are currently busy with their own Everywhere We Go tour.
Announcing the news earlier this week, Jessie wrote on Twitter: 'SO excited for my 'ALIVE UK TOUR' and to announce @lawsonofficial as special guests from 22nd October...”
