Shelley Smith became the second act to be voted off The X Factor on Sunday night.
The 34-year-old singer, who had also competed in the sing-off the week before,
failed to pull in the votes after her performance of Beyoncé's Single Ladies on Saturday night.
Her exit means that judge Sharon Osbourne is left with only one contestant in her category - Sam Bailey.

Shelley was forced to compete against boyband Kingsland Road, who automatically went through to the sing-off on Saturday night when they came bottom in the flash vote.
Kingsland Road were first up to perform, singing their take of Pink's Try, before Shelley then took to the stage to sing Sam Brown's Stop!
However, while Shelley managed to hit some of the bigger notes, she also appeared to be struggling throughout the track, with her voice almost disappearing at points.

The mother-of-one had been suffering from an inner ear infection all week which even saw her pass out.
The judges were then given the chance to vote on which act they wanted to stay in the competition.
Gary Barlow was up first, voting to send Shelley home instead of his act Kingsland Road. Sharon voted to send home Kingsland Road, keeping her act Shelley.
Nicole was third to vote, telling Shelley: 'You have the most sch-mazing personality in this competition but you really inspire me and you're so infectious and lovable. But I have your back this week so I have to have the boys' back this week.'

In a last-ditch attempt to convince Louis Walsh to vote to send home Kingsland Road, Sharon was seen covering him in kisses and telling him that she would do 'anything' to get him to keep Shelley in the contest.
However, Louis wasn't swayed, instead deciding to keep Kingsland Road and send Shelley home.
After being voted off, Shelley said: 'I just want to say thank you to everyone at the X Factor because I've had the time of my life. And Mrs O is amazing.'
And asked how she felt about losing two acts in as many weeks, Sharon said: 'I'm gutted. I'm absolutely gutted. I can't put it into words.'

Shelley said: 'I just wanted to go out on my birthday and have a bit of fun.'
Heartthrob Sam Callahan did his utmost on Saturday to prove he has the vocal skills to succeed, and said: 'I'm so glad that my hard work paid off. I will work that hard every week.'
Nicole added: 'I think Sam has worked the hardest out of everyone this week, I'm really proud of him.'

Rough Copy performed Backstreet Boys for Saturday's show, and said afterwards, while Hannah Barrett wowed the judges with her take on Christina Aguilera's Beautiful.
Sharon said afterwards: 'It was the performance of the night. She always breaks my heart with her voice - it's just so beautiful.'
The first guest performer of the evening was Robin Thicke, who performed his hit track Blurred Lines accompanied by swimsuit clad female dancers who had the song title painted all over their bodies.
Clearly enjoying the performance, the judges were seen standing and dancing along to the tune as Robin danced around among the crowd.

Gary replied: 'I didn't see it coming. I wouldn't have changed anything about their performance last night. They did a great job. They've been preparing for the last 24 hours, so good luck boys.'
Sharon said that she thought Abi Alton was in trouble, while Louis said Abi and Shelley might be up for the axe.
The second guest performance came from Katy Perry, who took to the stage in a corseted tiger costume and ears to perform her hit single Roar.
Katy topped off her outfit with elbow-length gloves, a slick of red lipstick and a thick gold chain necklace.
She was joined by bizarre mask-wearing dancers with briefcases, who danced around her as she sang on top of a platform.
The dancers then shed their suits to reveal animal-print metallic jumpsuits more in keeping with the song's theme.
Speaking to Dermot after the performance, Katy said: 'I get to dress up like a big cat so I love  this song. I feel grrreat!'
And when Dermot asked her if she would ever consider being an X Factor judge herself, Katy replied: 'Oh my goodness, I would to give constructive criticisim because it's actually really hard out there when you're an artist!'
In fact, Katy was actually a guest judge on a previous series of the show, in an episode which saw her put Niall Horan through to the next round.
And referring to her choice, Katy said: 'I like that I let Niall through. He's now in a little band called One Direction!'
