Five reasons to be thankful for blogging

And five reasons I'll never quit blogging despite the bullshit I'm going through right now. (That's me up there by the way).

Blogging has been a real blessing in my life. There are so many reasons I’m thankful for blogging, and on this note I’d like to share some of them with you today.

– Blogging Builds Relationships. They may not be part of my inner circle, but I have formed some valuable and fulfilling relationships thanks to blogging. I hear from people all around the world.  Some are insightful, others are opinionated, but all are engaged. This feeling of connectedness is important to me in a somewhat disconnected world.

– Blogging Is a FREE Hobby. With no equipment necessary, no entry fees, and no expensive “collectibles,” blogging is an economical hobby, one that fills time in a positive way — without draining your bank account. The coolest part is that blogs are like “manly” diaries, with your thoughts archived for life.  For virtually no cost, I can look back on this post in 20 years and laugh or cry about it. That’s priceless!

– Blogging Puts Me on the Path to Self-Employment. It won’t happen overnight, and it might never come to fruition, but blogging puts everyone on the path to potential self-employment. The greatest part is that you can transition as slowly (or as quickly) as you like. Whether or not this is a goal for you, it at least lets you cast a hook into the self-employment pond. Hey, you gotta be in it to win it, right?

– Blogging Lets Me Tap Into My Creativity. I live for creative vision; it keeps me young, happy, and feeling alive. From layout to imagery to making money, a good blogger must be a quick thinker – someone who is willing to let their creative juices slop all over the floor. Somebody get me a mop!

– Blogging is Therapeutic. And it costs less than therapy. As a blogger you get to air your grievances publicly and have the world comment. This dialogue can help you blow off some serious steam. And for the days when blogging isn’t enough, I always have the heavy bag to hit in my basement.

I love blogging you have no idea, blogging keeps me sane, so why will I quit blogging? For those of you that keep supporting me despite my shortcoming, I see you, God bless you guys tremendous ly!

Emir of Kano’s daughter Blasts And Curses LINDA IKEJI For Posting Her Picture And Calling Her Stunning (SEE DETAILS)

LINDA NARRATES BELOW:

Yesterday, I shared photos of one of the daughters of Emir of Kano, Yusra Muhammad Sanusi II. Not only is she upset that I described her as ‘stunning’…huh? She’s particularly upset with comments that followed. She sent me a mail which she wanted me to share with my readers. Meanwhile you share your photos on twitter and you don’t want bloggers to carry them? When you’re the Emir’s daughter? C’mon nah, you don’t want us to be in business ni? Lol. Kidding aside, read her email below…

Hi Linda, I hope you’re well. I saw your blog post about my picture and although I am flattered that you think I’m stunning, I find the comments rather offensive. The comments could be classified under two categories: either made by perverts or made by people who used the opportunity to disregard my father’s marital affairs. I am aware that you cannot control your viewer’s opinions, but you violated My right of privacy by putting up pictures of me on your blog, when you don’t even know me personally.

There is more to a person than meets the eye. By putting up my pictures and describing me as “pretty” and “stunning”, you are judging me based on my physical appearances. Truth is, this is exactly what is wrong with the world. We reduce people and describe them using shallow and physical adjectives. For the commenter who insisted that I was only pretty with make up on, we live in a world full of Nigerians who spend hundreds, and even thousands on Brazilian and Indian wigs, bleaching creams and fake nails. And you are looking down on me because I am wearing make up?

And, in case you do speak to your commenters, please tell them that  I am not married for “royal ties”. And yes, I am older than my father’s last wife, but why should that be anybody ‘s business? To the ignorant commenter who shamed my father for marrying a young wife: My father is a Muslim and his marriage is legal before Islamic Law (look up Prophet Muhammad S.A.W ‘s marriage to Nana Aisha). If The Almighty God permits his marriage, who are you to condemn it? Why should he please you, the creation, when he can please The Creator?

Going forward, I will appreciate it if you would be as kind as to remove my pictures from your blog so as to stop similarly insulting comments.

But do feel free to post this email on your blog because a lot of ignorant people that read your blog need an educated response. “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction”.

– Khadija Yusra Muhammad Sanusi II.

with his wife.
5. Do not look at what a guy drives but what
drives him.
6. Before You call a guy ugly, remember 95% of
Your beauty can be removed by a towel.
7. When you were in campus you dated married

Kmichelle says she tired of her fake behind...ready to take the implants out

B. Scott sat down with the lovely K. Michelle for a one-on-one interview in Los Angeles earlier this month.

During their chat, K. Michelle revealed that despite being proud of her shape, she’s ready to say bye-bye to her curves — specifically, her butt enhancements.

Her decision isn’t rooted in vanity, but rather her desire to be taken seriously when it comes time for business.

She says:

“I have like movies and different things [I’m working on], and I was having a real conversation with Tyrese — we’re really like great friends. I was telling him about my butt, how I hate being typecasted because my bottom is so heavy — not saying I don’t love myself, but…you know.

For me, I want my normal shape back.

For me, and my career right now, and me doing business — like really being on the frontline in business — I don’t need to have a man looking down at my ass when I’m trying to talk numbers. I don’t need to not be able to get the role. Like, I wanna be in Jurassic Park!  Let me be in Jurassic Park! I don’t need to not be able to run through Jurassic Park because my ass is too heavy. Before the dinosaurs come to eat me, I need to be able to go!

K. Michelle also says that she’s tired of her shape getting in the way of wearing what she wants to wear.

“I can’t wear designer clothes. It’s always a problem when it comes to designers and like when they have to get stuff to fit my body. That’s one thing, I’ve always had a big butt. You can ask anyone in college.”

As far as why she decided to alter her body in the first place, K. tells B. Scott that at the time it was something she just wanted for herself.

“I just wanted it. I wanted that shape. That’s the shape that I wanted. I wanted to look like that. I think the older you get you get tired of having to hop into your jeans!”

When asked what she would tell other girls at this point who might be considering butt or other body enhancements, she says:

“I would say if you have the coins to put it in, have the coins to take it out. That’s really what I would [say]. No, really — because it might be a phase! I would tell [other girls], don’t go and do what you see people doing. But, if that’s what you want to do — if that’s the body you want — go get the body you want! Nothing is wrong with it. But, if you won’t want it anymore — you just don’t want it anymore!

The banging body on porsha though...

Perfect bikini body like mine😼😼😼 lol

Rick Ross Calls Off Engagement After Two Months

Just like Wendy predict baby!!! Rick Ross and Lira Galore have reportedly called off their engagement.

Well that was quick. After getting engaged this September, Rick Ross and model/actress Lira Galore have decided to call it quits. According to TMZ, the couple had a "major blowout," which resulted in Galore moving all of her belongings out of Rozay's home.

The news arrives just after Ross was let off of house arrest. It's unclear whether the split happened before or after Rozay was left off the hook.

Lira still seems to be in possession of $350,000 engagement ring, which she can be seen wearing in an Instagram photo posted yesterday. No word on whether it will be returned, but TMZ point out that according to the law, it should be.

Galore recently appeared in the trailer for Ross' "Sorry" video. As far as we know, she will still star in the full length clip, which should arrive any day now.

Wife of Late Popular OAP, Chaz B, Reportedly Alleges Doctors at Renowned Lagos Hospital Of Causing His Death

In a recount published on SaharaReporters, Chinyere Roselin Chukwuma, wife of the late Rhythm FM On-Air Personality, Chukwuma Charles Bruce, popularly called Chaz B, who died in November, 2014, alleged that doctors at a renowned hospital in Lagos contributed to her husband’s untimely death.

Please read the recount below as published by SaharaReporters

My husband called me at about 6:40 AM, Friday the 21st of November 2014, from work. He asked me to come and pick him up, that he was not feeling too good. I left with the driver to get him. When I got there, he was too uncomfortable, and he asked me to take him home. But on our way home, I noticed that he was in pains, so I asked the driver to reverse the car and head instead to the hospital (St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos).

On reaching there, we met Judith, the receptionist. I asked if there was a Doctor around. This was around 7 PM. She said yes and after some time we were asked to go into Room 2. Right there we met a young Doctor called Dr. Ogidigben Kevwe.  He asked a few questions that I answered while my husband was wallowing in pains. He (Kevwe) opened an emergency file because according to him, my husband’s file was locked up in Dr. Bamgboye’s office, and no one has access to that office. I told Dr. Kevwe that my husband had incisional hernia surgery done a few months back at the same hospital, August to be precise and it was performed by one Dr. Mohan an India man, and Dr. Balogun at St. Nicholas Hospital. He started to examine him. He then left us in his office and said he was coming back.

He came back after some minutes and said he was trying to reach Dr. Balogun from the reception, but he is not getting through. So I used my husband’s phone and dialed Balogun and got through. At this point, I gave the phone to Dr. Kevwe, and he started explaining to Dr. Balogun, what he thought was the problem. Balogun on the other end asked if my husband was in pains, and Kevwe said yes. Dr. Kevwe told Dr. Balogun that he was suspecting intestinal obstruction. Dr. Balogun asked if there was any swelling around where the incision was done, but Dr.Kevwe said no. Balogun asked if there was any reddish sign around the same area, and Kevwe said no. So Dr. Kevwe suggested giving him antibiotics, but Balogun said that they have to be careful what they give him, since he is a post kidney transplant patient. Balogun asked them to give him a particular injection twice to ease the pains, and he said that they should observe him till the next morning. So I left to go get him what he had asked for (his tea and his stockings). On my way around Bonny Camp, I got a call from a strange number, when I picked up; it was Dr. Kevwe, on the other end. He asked me to turn back to come pick up my husband, and I asked why?

He (Kevwe) said that my Husband is feeling much better, and wants to go home. I asked the driver to reverse and head back to the hospital. And on getting there, I went in and asked the Dr. again why he wants me to take him home. He repeated once again that he feels much better and I asked Kevwe if he was asking me to take him home because he thinks he feels better or that the hospital doesn’t have a bed for him. I asked this because the nurse had mentioned earlier that she needed to check for bed space. Kevwe at this point told me that my Husband would be fine, he asked me to take my Husband home and bring him the following morning. Meanwhile, before then, Kewe wrote a prescription of drugs for my husband which I took to the pharmacist and when the lady there saw it, she asked which Dr. I saw. I told her that it was Dr. Kewe.  She moved over to the other side and called the Dr’s office.  They both argued about the drug that he wrote, she then gave me just1 tablet of Exforge. When my husband got up from the hospital bed, he staggered and I held him and asked if he’s fine. The Dr. said that it’s the injection that was given to him that he would be fine. So I took him home.

We got home. And just about 15minutes after, my husband said he felt like throwing up. I brought a bowl to him, and he vomited, and he felt a bit better. He slept for some time and got up in excruciating pain.
Immediately I jumped into my clothes and then called Dr. Balogun, to say that we are on our way back to the hospital. He said no problem that the doctor will be waiting for me. I asked,  which doctor? And he said the doctor is their senior surgeon by the name Dr. Fadiran. Balogun said that Dr. Fadiran was the doctor on call. We got to the hospital in less than 20 minutes; my husband came down from the car himself. He walked into the hospital by himself before he was wheeled into the ER. Then came Dr. Kevwe, and I asked him about the senior surgeon, and he told me that he would be coming very soon. I wasn’t too happy with that, as I had mentioned to Dr. Balogun that my husband was in serious pains. I expected to see a consultant like he said. Kevwe started by
trying to put him on a drip that took forever, as he was unable to successfully get his veins while my husband was languishing in pain.

My husband kept telling them (DR. Kevwe and the nurse) that he wants to throw up or use the restroom, and he would be fine. He kept saying that if he throws up he will be fine. Meanwhile, Dr. Kevwe was taking instructions on the phone from Dr. Fadiran. This was when I asked when the Dr. would come. I kept asking, “when will the doctor come?”  And Dr. Kevwe said Dr. Fadiran asked him to get my entire husband’s information. DR. Kevwe told me that they are
waiting for the Radiologist and the Anesthesiologist, and none of these people showed up.
My husband kept on saying that he wants to throw up. But then, Dr. Kevwe asked the nurse to give him an injection, I asked what the injection was for? And he said it will stop him from vomiting. He became so uncomfortable and was losing his breath.  They put him on oxygen, but I guess he was already choking.

Meanwhile, Kevwe was still taking instructions from Dr. Fadiran on the phone.  At this time, he started gasping for air.  Meanwhile, before then, another doctor showed up. I don’t know his name, but he’s average in height and dark complexioned. He inserted a suction tube into his mouth, but I guess he was two hours or more late with that. Because if that was done when I brought him to the hospital that morning, he would have been here with me today.

If Dr. Fadiran were at the hospital, even after he was told that it was an emergency; my husband would have been here with me. If the anesthesiologist was at the hospital, he probably would have been here with me. If the radiologist were around on that morning to at least see what was happening inside of him, he probably would have been here with me. If Dr. Kevwe knew exactly what he was doing that morning without taking instructions from Dr. Fadiran on the phone, with an emergency case right in front of him, my husband would have been here. My husband died of total negligence on the part of St. Nicholas Hospital, and I know it. Like I said earlier, the  doctor was 2 hours plus late with the suction, because, at this time, the nurse was already calling my husband’s name, shouting “Mr. Charles, Mr. Charles!” He was given four adrenaline injections. The drip wasn’t going at all, all this while lest I forget. I watched my husband struggled to breath. I watched him fight for his life, and I was right there when he died. And even though they were busy with CPR,  I knew when he passed on because immediately he stopped struggling, fluid started gushing out of his mouth and nose, I knew that was it. That was the same fluid that was choking him. If there were a senior consultant or surgeon at the hospital as at when I brought him, he probably, would have been helped. In between all this, Dr. Kevwe at a time said to Dr. Fadiran on the phone that he should come now as the patient is in a critical condition. He said to the same Dr. Fadiran that 11 O’clock might be too
late. I brought my husband at about 6 AM to St. Nicholas Hospital and he died at about 9.30AM without receiving prompt and adequate care.

Human life cannot continue to be lost soo cheaply in Nigerian Hospital, people must be made to account for their actions as professionals hence I have contacted my Lawyers to investigate the cause of death as he has died with our dreams, aspirations, and vision and planned future together.

So upcoming actresses now sleep and pay for movie roles? Victims share their nasty experience

Na wa oh! This is sad, read how a director derived a lady from playing TonTo's kid sister because she didn't pay for the role.

Some say that no female actor has ever made it without giving in to sexual harassments or conditions and some say that we can't make it without buying roles. But then I resorted to making auditions my best friend. Because when I get there I do my best and end up getting a role without the conditions but then later it comes up again, when I say no they take the role and give to someone else Who said yes but not a good actor. Sometime ago I was in Port Harcourt and I was called to come down to play a role as Tonto's younger sister. They said that I was good and that I looked a little like her. I left my place of youth service and went down to Asaba. The crew members were excited when they saw me and they said that I was the perfect cast. I was there for days waiting for Tonto's arrival. The day she came in they called me, took the script from me and gave it to a girl who just came in that day, so I was told she paid for the role but then this girl looked like she was Tonto's elder sister and the crew members kept complaining. Finally I got fed up and left the set. It was very painful because all these happened because I refused to dance by the drums. It's an experience I can't forget because by the time I got back to my place of assignment I had a query awaiting me. It was a big job and was directed by a big director

Producer's COMMENT:
This is the type of ugly and pathetic stories that trail our beautiful Nollywood  industry, and each time this wickedness happens, the heart of one innocent and hopeful seeker of succor from Nollywood is brutally wounded and made bitter against the perpetrators of those wicked acts against her. They eternally, like our victim above, remember this evil and continue to ask God for vengeance against those enemies of their progress. One thing I have enjoyed as EP, producer and Director is the uplifting remarks made by those who have crossed my paths and were never asked to give themselves or give gifts and money for roles. Good name still stands taller than wealth. A lady was invited four years ago to come and work on one of my projects and she did and left. Two years after, I met her in Enugu with her friends and I was visibly blushing as she excitedly introduced me to her friends as the only producer/ director who can give you jobs and not DEMAND sex from you. I have also been sweetly moved to tears once by a lady I fought to secure a role for in one job in Enugu. I finished my directing and went back to my base without even waiting to be thanked by her. Three days after I left, she called me to know my wayabout. I told her I had gone back to my base. She asked me to send my PA to her and I did. The lady had gone and shopped for clothes and footwears worth more than N250, 000 and sent to me to appreciate me. I didn't ask for it, but I got it with prayers of increments from God by her for me. The opposite is that when you oppress them to submit to your heinous sex demands, you get dangerous curses from them and their prayers to God to visit you with evil, and I tell you, those prayers against you are effective against your life.
SEX for ROLES is EVIL & PAYMENT for ROLES is EVIL. They are OPPRESSIVE ACTS and God HATES oppressors.
