The autopsy results are in and Bobbi Kristina Brown’s untimely death was causing by drowning and the influence of multiple times of drugs. Fortunately, there is no evidence of foul play, however the drugs found in her system were marijuana, alcohol, a cocaine-related substance substance called benzoylecgonine, benzodiazepines, which is a prescription for anti- anxiety meds) and morphine.
Indeed the autopsy showed the use of drugs, however the report list the full case as pneumonia and encephalopathy, which means that her lungs filled with water and her brain was injured. This time she spent submerged in her bathtub caused this unfortunate problem. The Fulton Country Medical Examiner’s testing revealed Bobbi Kristina dies due to “Immersion of face in water complicating mixed drug intoxication.”
Bobbi Kristina’s autopsy results were not reveal until this morning because the Fulton County D.A. believed that it would have interfered with an ongoing criminal investigation into whether her boyfriend Nick Gordon was involved in her death. Luckily for Nick, the medical examiner was unable to determine if Bobbi Kristina’s death was “due to intentional or accidental causes.”
Whether her death was foul play or not, Bobbi Kristina’s estate has still filed a $40 million wrongful death lawsuit against Nick. They believe that he gave her the toxic mix of drugs, which the medical report clearly states played a role in her drowning.
Bobbi Kristina was taken off life support on July 26, however today would have been her 23rd birthday.
