It appears that former Rivers state governor Rotimi Amaechi has lost out in his bid to become the Secretary to the Federal Government as top chieftains of the All Progressives Congress APC have dumped him for Chief Ogbonnaya Onu, first executive governor of Abia state.
Sources within the party said Amaechi is too hot headed and as such could not be trusted with such sensitive position as he is likely to quarrel with everybody and end up causing problems for the president. In addition, the party had already decided to zone the position to the South East.
