Words of Wisdom From Karen Zulu

Every man or woman you have sex with deposits and leaves a part of their soul in you. Most of us haven't been properly educated about sex. It's almost a taboo to discuss these things outside of private matters but the silence leads to lack of awareness of what it even is. I mean it is the most powerful force that creates life. Most see it as a physical experience but forget the bond, the connection, energy exchange and deep cellular one experiences with their partner. When a man or woman decides to have multiple sex partners it can send mixed emotional signals to the body's vibration system. People must be careful of different energies and spiritual forces polluting their internal temple. Sex is referred to as sexual INTER-COURSE because it's an internal course that unites man and woman, mind and mind, spirit and spirit. This is something that a condom can't protect you against because energy is behind the elements of all flesh. On a physical level we have been educated to use "protection" but on an energy level nobody discusses the effects it creates on ones mind and soul. It's too much of a taboo and hidden away to avoid. Be one aware of what's going on, even if you've never heard before, just ponder on it.

Hmm! Well said!

BlackBerry announced that it plans to allow BBM users in Africa (starting with Nigeria) to send money or airtime “ with ease

BlackBerry announced Monday that it plans to allow BBM users in Africa (starting with Nigeria) to send money or airtime “as simply as they transfer photos or files.” It’s part of a wider push by BlackBerry to establish a presence in the mobile payments space, especially in emerging markets.

In Nigeria and South Africa, the company says it sees over half a million new users install BBM per month, which it believes is allowing “a network effects [to] take root in several markets across the continent.” Beyond that, it’s seeing “close to 10 million visits to the BBM Shop per month, and now over 26 million ad requests per day.”

These strong advertising numbers mean that South Africa and Nigeria “represent two of our biggest global opportunities,” BlackBerry said, adding that while “both are seen as developing economies, they are some of our top revenue-generating markets.”

Fleeing Boko Haram terrorists arrested in Lagos, yet again

yuletide season beckons the need to be more secuirity conscious in Lagos has again been brought to the fore. Apart from armed robbery and other criminality, it also seem Boko Haram are also targeting Lagos for security breach.

Yesterday, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 81 Division, Major General Isidore Edet revealed that several Boko Haram members fleeing the battlefield in Borno State have been arrested in Lagos. The GOC spoke to newsmen shortly after decorating 12 newly promoted officers attached to the division.

General Edet said the arrested Boko Haram members were among those fleeing the battlefield in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe States and were fleeing down South to continue their nefarious activities.

He said presently, investigations had commenced into the activities of each Boko Haram member and that they were undergoing interrogation to fish out other members of the group.

It will be recalled that on October 24, the Department of State Service (DSS) said it arrested 45 suspected members of Boko Haram over an alleged plot to attack Dolphin Estate in Ikoyi, Lagos.

BREAKING: Sambo Dasuki arrested by DSS

Operatives of Department of State Service (DSS) on Tuesday morning arrested ex -National Security Adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd).

Dasuki who was placed under house arrest and denied an opportunity to travel abroad by the DSS has now been arrested .

Although the DSS did not state the reason for arresting Dasuki , it is strongly believed that new reports of a $ 2billion arms contract fraud might be the reason.

It would be recalled that on Monday, a panel set up by President Muhammadu Buhari to probe defence spendings between 2007 and 2015 revealed the scale of looting by the National Security adviser .

Here is an excerpt from the report : “ As part of the findings , the committee has analyzed interventions from some organizations that provided funds to the Office of the National Security Adviser , Defence Headquarters , Army Headquarters Naval Headquarters and Nigerian Air Force Headquarters , both in local and foreign currencies .

“So far the total extra budgetary interventions articulated by the committee is N 643 , 817 , 955 , 885 .18 . The foreign currency component is to the tune of $ 2, 193 , 815 , 000 .83 .

“These amounts exclude grants from the State Governments and funds collected by the DSS and Police. It was observed that in spite of this huge financial intervention , very little was expended to support defense procurement .

“The committee also observed that of 513 contracts awarded at $8, 356 , 525 , 184 . 32; N 2, 189 , 265 , 724 , 404 .55 and € 54, 000 .00 ; Fifty Three (53 ) were failed contracts amounting to $ 2, 378 , 939 , 066 .27 and N13 , 729 , 342 , 329 . 87 respectively.

“Interestingly, it was noted that the amount of foreign currency spent on failed contracts was more than double the $ 1bn loan that the National Assembly approved for borrowing to fight the insurgency in the North East .

“The committee also discovered that payments to the tune of N 3, 850 , 000 , 000 .00 were made to a single company by the former NSA without documented evidence of contractual agreements or fulfilment of tax obligations to the FGN.

“Further findings revealed that between March 2012 and March 2015, the erstwhile NSA , Lt Col MS Dasuki (rtd ) awarded fictitious and phantom contracts to the tune of N2 , 219 , 188 , 609 .50 , $1 , 671 , 742 , 613 .58 and € 9, 905 , 477 .00 .

The contracts which were said to be for the purchase of 4 Alpha Jets , 12 helicopters , bombs and ammunition were not executed and the equipment were never supplied to the Nigerian Air Force , neither are they in its inventory .

Yahoo Yahoo Boys, Facebook Scammers Arrested For Impersonating Tinubu & CP Fatai Owoseni Confess

Meet 4 Yahoo yahoo fraudsters arrested recently for allegedly impersonating APC leader, Bola Tinubu, Police Commissioner, Fatai Owoseni and a DSP.

The suspects identified as 24-year-old Lucky Adieze, 23-year-old John Ogunnowo, 21-year-old Obinna Collins and 58-year-old Afoke Adetolani were paraded by Lagos Police Command yesterday.

See their individual confessions below:

Adieze Lucky:

“I am a hip hop musician and I opened a Facebook account with Tinubu’s picture to attract people. I think it was the person who gave me his account number that made police to find me and arrest me two weeks ago.”

John Ogunnowo, 23 who gave Adieze his account number said:

“I work in an health organization but when I lost my job, I was trying to look for money to enable me go back to school. I only gave him my bank account number not knowing that he had bad intention that will end up putting me in trouble. “When I went to the bank to collect money, I was told that my account was zero and in an attempt to know why, police arrested me.”

Obinna Collins, who claimed to be National Diploma II Electrical Engineering Student said:

I opened a Facebook account using CP Owoseni because it is only way to attract victims. Once they see CP, they would believe everything I tell them and I would get the money I wanted. This particular woman, Mrs Ronke, a business woman is the only victim. I was chatting with her and she ended up paying N20, 000 into my account. I initially told her that I had boys whom I am training in higher institution and I have a foundation that is taking care of it.

“Surprisingly Mrs Ronke told me to come and meet her at Conoil, Ikeja to collect something she wanted to give me as a hard working Commissioner of Police. I asked her whether she knew the size of my shoes and she said it does not matter that what she wanted was to have fun with me. She however insisted that she wanted me to collect the shoe and iPad as a remembrance of our love. She said she had been nursing the idea of having fun with me and that was what she wanted for her life.

“Unfortunately for me, when I came to collect the golden shoe and the Ipad, I was arrested by the police.”

Adetolani, a former traffic warden inspector known as yellow fever who impersonated a DSP said:

“I was dismissed because my colleague who stole a tyre from a parked exhibit vehicle in police station said that I planned it with him. I tried to defend myself but they insisted that we did it together and both of us were dismissed.

“To help myself and my family, I decided to do something smart. I first bought this uniform and later bought the DSP rank and ID card and uniform for N15,000. I was dismissed from Surulere division in 1984. They framed me up and dismissed me.

“I bought a bus for commercial purpose but my offence is that I hanged this uniform in my bus so that police, LASTMA, KAI, road safety and other law enforcement agents will not disturb me on the road. You can see that the name I used is my real name. I was stopped at Oshodi by police and I told them that I am a police DSP and they paid me my compliment but told me that they still wanted to investigate me.

“It was that investigation and interrogation that gave me up. I tried to bribe them yet they refused and told me that police have changed and that it was no more business as usual. But one thing is clear; I did not rob with it. I only used it to get respect and easy passage whenever I meet law enforcement agents. Please tell police to forgive me, it is due to the hardship I was passing through after my dismissal.”
