Woman found in well, four days after disappearance

Reports suggest that a 41-year-old woman, Antinlola Adeyemi, who was declared missing for about four days by family members, has been found dead in a deep well in Lagos on Monday, March 28.
The director of Lagos state Fire Service, Fadipe Rasaq, confirmed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN). Mr Rasaq said the family had been looking for her for about four days before she was discovered on Monday.

“The family had been looking for her. She was discovered in the well and we were informed at about 9.30 a.m.; when we got there, she was already swollen. “It was only her back we were seeing. It was difficult to bring her out. At the time we brought her out, the corpse was handed over to Isheri police division officers. “The well is situated in front of the houses along the power lines where illegal buildings and other structures were demolished in Ikotun area not too long ago,’’ Mr Rasaq said. In the same vein, Grace Utum, a worker with Arik Air, has gone missing after paying a visit to her lover in Ojodu Berger area of Lagos state. Utum had reportedly left her Ikeja office for the house of her lover, Ihuoma Amelogu, on January 1, 2016 and her whereabouts have since been unknown.
