Hollywood beauty Jennifer Aniston is 'irritated' by constant rumours that she is pregnant - after secretly trying for a baby for more than a year, MailOnline can reveal.
The blonde, 44, initially joked with pals every time there was a fresh rumour that she was expecting - but today a source revealed: 'It's starting to be a source of irritation for Jen.'
The source claimed that Jennifer and her fiancé Justin Theroux have been trying for a baby ever since they got engaged in August 2012, saying: 'Jen purposely left her work slate clean for the next few months to prepare for motherhood.
'She puts a brave face on the rumors, but it masks her desperate desire to be a mother.'
Despite her private frustration, the We're The Millers actress was seen grinning from ear-to-ear as she left celebrity favourite restaurant Cecconis in West Hollywood on Wednesday night.
Layering up, Jennifer looked chic in a brown jacket, scarf and khaki trousers, teamed with beige pointed court shoes.
She was seen flanked by security as she left the eatery, where frequent star diners include Tom Cruise, Simon Cowell and Halle Berry, via the rear exit, clutching a large Burton gift bag as she did so.
The star has just finished filming Squirrel to the Nuts in New York and has recently just been concentrating on promotion for We're The Millers internationally.
After Us Weekly's magazine cover declaring Jennifer's 'pregnancy' yesterday, a representative for the actress told MailOnline: 'Jennifer is not pregnant.'
Meanwhile, the friend said that that pals are already pondering whether Jennifer and Justin may push back their wedding yet again - as it looks likely that HBO will opt to order a full series of Damon Lindelof's HBO series The Leftovers which has Justin in his first high-profile leading man role alongside Liv Tyler.
Planning in fall for the wedding - which was looking set for Christmas - has gone out of the window and now the couple are discussing a date for spring 2014. MailOnline had previously how the pair cancelled a summer wedding as both their work schedules became overwhelmed.
The source said: 'Jen's completely understanding of Justin's opportunity to elevate his career to another level and prepared to wait though friends are starting to question whether they'll never make it down the aisle!'
Last month, Jennifer insisted: 'We just want to do it when it’s perfect, and we’re not rushed, and no one is rushing from a job or rushing to a job. And, you know, we already feel married. There have been no canceled weddings. There have been no postponed weddings. There have been no arguments about where to get married. Just clearing all that up.'
Baby on board: On Wednesday UsWeekly reported
that Jennifer is pregnant with Justin Theroux's baby and is expecting in
2014 but her rep denies the claim
Although Us Weekly printed a rep denial about Jennifer's pregnancy, the magazine but still proceeded to detail how the Friends star has been trying very hard to hide the fact that she is expecting a child with her fiance Justin, 42.
'She's thrilled!' a source told the weekly magazine.
The source added that the couple, who fell in love on the set of Wanderlust, are 'extremely happy' and this 'is the baby Jen always wanted,' adding the child is due in 2014.

Weekly also claimed the Emmy winner has been struggling to hide her 'growing
bump' as she promotes her two films We're The Millers and Life Of Crime.
Parents to be? The engaged actors pose at the Oscars in February
'Her stylist had to redo her whole press tour wardrobe,' a source told the publication.
Instead of asking designers to borrow outfits in bigger sizes to accomodate the star's expanding waistline (which would alert several people that the beauty was gaining weight), the stylist had to go to clothing stores and buy new dresses by Alexander McQueen and Chanel straight of the rack, the article detailed.
However, Jennifer previously revealed that she thinks people often come to the conclusion that she could be pregnant because she's gained 'a couple of pounds' in recent months.
Pregnancy or pasta?: It was hard to tell whether
the Vanity Fair cover girl was either pregnant or had just eaten a lot
of pasta when she attended the We're The Millers premiere in New York on
August 1
Though Jennifer did not look pregnant at the September 15 Toronto Film Festival premiere of her new film Life Of Crime, the Us Weekly article claims she relied on a Vivienne Westwood gown that had a corset inside and layers of fabric over the stomach on the outside to hide her baby bump.
The star also didn't look pregnant as she sunbathed in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in August, but UsWeekly had an answer for that too: she constantly tried to hide her stomach with a towel or wrap.
There are other arguments that support the claim she is with child.
Sometime in September the pitchwoman canceled a Smartwater photo shoot and said it would be a 'while' before she could reschedule.
She also has no movie projects lined up, which is odd for her because she usually works nonstop.

The couple has already moved into their new gated $21m Bel-Air home in LA, which at 8,500 square feet has plenty of space for a nursery.
On September 7, the duo were spotted loading up on groceries for their new kitchen (though most likely not eggs as they have their own chicken coop on their property). Tellingly the Golden Globe darling wore a baby doll dress that completely hid her mid-section.
There are no plans yet for a wedding because, 'the baby is taking priority,' says the source.
In 2005 after her split from Brad Pitt, the Friends told Vanity Fair, 'I've never in my life said I didn't want children. I did and I do and I will.'
In 2011 she said that becoming a mother, 'resonated with me in my twenties and my thirties and it still does'.
